Hi! I’m Nathalie - the artist behind Art is Life.

Every portrait I create is personal. I paint with care, patience, and a deep appreciation for the stories behind each piece. Pets who were family. Loved ones who changed us. Moments worth remembering.

HOW COMISSIONS WORK

Select whether you’d like a pet portrait or a person portrait, or a custom concept (family, memorial, couple portrait, etc.)
You can send one or multiple photos. The more expressions and angles the better. I do pick one picture out of them all. I’ll help you choose which photo works best for the painting.
I offer a variety of canvas sizes. If you’re unsure, I’ll recommend a size based on wall space subject, and budget.
Before painting begins, I send a digital mock-up or sketch so you can review pose, crop, and composition.
Payments can be made directly through the website (pay installments is an option) or, via cash app, Zelle, or square.
I create your portrait by hand using careful detail and layering. I send progress updates along the way so you can see our piece come to life.
Your finished painting will be sealed, protected, and either shipped or available for local pick up.
